EEO Policy Statement

South Seas Broadcasting, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer and has followed a consistent practice of outreach to our communities and work force regarding broadcast career and job opportunities. As of March 10, 2003, the effective date of the FCC's new EEO rules, our company is continuing those EEO efforts.

The company and its stations have updated and expanded our mailing lists of organizations wishing to receive notices of their job openings. In addition, we are continuing our efforts to recruit widely for job openings with our company by posting information about future opportunities with a variety of media and other organizations, including but not limited to the organizations that have requested to be on their expanded mailing list.

Finally, South Seas Broadcasting, Inc. engages in a variety of long-term recruitment initiatives to better educate the public about careers in broadcasting and better prepare interested students and others to enter or advance in such careers. Our next EEO report will contain further detail about the progress of those efforts.

To add your organization's name to our list to be contacted in the event of future openings, or if you have any questions about our company's equal employment opportunity efforts, please e-mail South Seas Broadcasting company president Larry Fuss at larry at khjradio.com, or call the station at 684-633-7793.
